IN presenting this little Volume to the Public, the Writer is conscious that his Preface should be an apology; because he is well aware it pos sesses scarcely any information beyond that which may be obtained in the publications of the day and the countries described are almost as well known as were formerly the counties traversed in a summer's excursion to the watering places. But, by sending it to the press, the Author is enabled.
